-If you can no longer make a class please cancel at least two hours before the class starts to avoid a late cancellation fee

-Late cancels will be charged $10

-If you no show to a class you will be charged $15

-Class starts exactly at scheduled times, so please show up to class at least 10 minutes early to give yourself enough time to settle and land

-Refunds for workshops are only refunded in credits

  • DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN YOGA MAT?

    It is encouraged to bring your own mat, but if you are travelling or just do not own one yet we have some complimentary ones in studio that you are more than welcome to use!

  • HOW DO I USE MY AMBASSADOR PASS

    If you have a free drop in from the Banff ambassador program, please use the promo code AMBASSADOR24 at checkout. You must bring your ambassador pass and a piece of ID that matches the name on your ambassador pass. If you do not have your ambassador pass with you at class you will not be admitted.

  • WHAT FACILITIES DOES YOUR STUDIO HAVE

    Our studio is just one small and cozy room! We have one unisex bathroom/changeroom, as well as a unisex coat room to leave your stuff.

  • IS YOUR STUDIO HEATED

    Our studio is not heated but due to a bakery being underneath us, the heat tends to rise and our studio can get quite warm and usually hovers around 27-30 degrees c

  • HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP

  • HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASS?

    The easiest way to make a booking is through the booking link on our website. Once you have created a momence account the easiest way is via the momence app

  • HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS

    Just log into momence.com using the email you signed up with and you can cancel any bookings you have. You can also use the momence app to do the same!

  • WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

    Just you, your mat and anything else that supports your practice! We do have yoga blocks, straps, and other props available for use. You are always welcome to bring your own if you would like to.

  • WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

    Please arrive roughly 10-15 minutes early for your first visit. This will allow enough time for registration and a brief orientation or questions before class begins. We encourage you to sign in online through the mind-body app which will save you time at check-in and secure your space in class. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the class start time and class starts at exactly the time specified so please show up at least 5 minutes early for class.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

    We are a warm yoga studio heated to roughly 30 degrees so dress according to your personal needs & comfort. Wear simple, breathable clothing that does not limit your range of motion! If you’re attending a yin or Restorative class where there is less/no vigorous movement we find it is always nice to wear a little more layers and socks.

  • CAN I SHOW UP LATE?

    Unfortunately, we do not accept late students. Please be aware of this policy and plan accordingly.

  • WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

    We are a cash free studio and only accept debit or credit card.

  • WHAT TYPE OF CLASS SHOULD I ATTEND?

    There is a class for everyone at Flow State! Please take a look at our class descriptions and our online class schedule to see our current offerings. If you are new to yoga asana, we recommend starting with one of our slow flows as they are great for beginners just learning the postures!

  • CAN I BOOK PRIVATE SESSIONS?

    Of course! Working one-on-one is a great way to delve into the unique needs of your practice with a teacher. Please reach out to any of our experienced teachers to schedule a private or small group yoga session. Rates vary by teacher & group size.

  • WHERE CAN I PARK?

    There is a parking lot on bear street that offers paid parking, as well as a larger parkade a block down if the bear street lot is full!
